Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has described the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), as a wounded party desperately seeking to destroy the state. He made this statement while addressing PDP members at a stakeholders meeting held on Tuesday at the Government House in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

The Governor advised party members to resolve any issues internally and refrain from discussing them on social media. He emphasized, "I therefore call on our leaders to stop any further infighting on the local government issue. We should stop taking matters to social media. We should resolve our matters internally."

Adeleke reminded the PDP members of the need to maintain party discipline and unity. "I task us to remember that we have a wounded opposition that is desperately seeking to destroy the state. We should not give them ammunition to use against us. We must ensure party discipline. We must abide by decisions of the party leadership. That is the way to strengthen the party and enhance our chance to win elections."

He also commended the party leadership at all levels, thanking them for their efforts in managing the party effectively. "I commend the party leadership at all levels. I thank you for running the party well. We must keep the Flag Flying," he concluded.
