A human rights advocate and organiser of the Recover Nigeria Project, Osita Obi, has lauded Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State for the developmental and transformational changes in the state.

Obi commended the governor for undertaking excellent projects within the state.

He made this statement yesterday while guiding newsmen on a tour of some of the ongoing and completed projects by the Soludo government all over the state.

He emphasised that he guided the newsmen to examine all the completed projects within the Awka metropolis and surrounding communities to make sure they could see the developments and successfully communicate them to the people of Anambra.

He noted that during his governorship campaign in 2022, Soludo assured the people of Anambra that if he won the election, he would develop the state into something similar to Dubai and Taiwan.

“Truly, now that he is the governor, he has been working tirelessly to keep his campaign promises to the people of Anambra, focussing on improving infrastructure, rural areas, healthcare, education, water supply, electricity, sports, and more.

The people of Anambra admire the governor for his achievements in rehabilitating multiple water schemes in various cities and local governments, offering free primary education for children, hiring teachers, creating jobs for young people through the 'One Youth, Two Skills' program, and improving healthcare facilities in the state.

Journalists visited several newly finished roads, including those in Ugbenu, Abu

a-Ofemili, Amansea, and Ebenebe.

Obi, commenting after inspecting the projects, affirmed that he chose to bring newsmen on the tour to allow them to have a direct assessment of the Soludo government.
