The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) is conducting a Computer-Based Aptitude Test for 45,689 job applicants across Nigeria today. This marks the second stage of the company's rigorous recruitment process that began earlier this year.

The aptitude test is taking place at various centers nationwide, including the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Centenary Resource Centre in Maitama, Abuja. This recruitment drive follows NNPC's July 25, 2024 announcement of job openings for new entrants.

NNPC Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, visited a test center and pledged a smooth, transparent, fair, and credible process. The company has made special provisions for applicants with disabilities to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.

NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye previously stated that the recruitment would fill various positions across different departments within the energy company.

The national oil firm emphasized that only the most qualified candidates will be selected for employment at the conclusion of the exercise.
