“I Watched Someone Fried to Death”; Bella Shmurda Shares Story
Renowned Nigerian singer and Afro-fusion musician, Bella Shmurda, recently opened up about a life-changing incident that profoundly shaped his life.
During a radio interview, he shared a harrowing experience he had while working as a factory worker at Dangote noodles.
As a young university student in his second year at Lagos State University, Bella needed money to pay for his education, so he decided to take up a blue-collar job at one of Dangote's noodle factories. However, his time there turned out to be marked by a tragic event.
The singer recounted how he witnessed a horrifying accident in which one of his colleagues fell into a vat of hot boiling oil and was fried to death. The shocking incident deeply affected him mentally, and in the wake of this tragic event, Bella made a solemn vow never to work in a factory again, especially not with Dangote.
