The UK has unveiled an array of occupations that proficient Nigerians aspiring to relocate can seek for employment visa eligibility. This inventory, accessible on the UK government's official website, encompasses 38 different professions currently open for application.
According to a statement on the website, "Examine the occupations listed in the scarcity list for each region of the UK. If your profession is included, meeting 80% of the customary wage for the role can make you eligible for a Skilled Worker visa.
The annual earnings for these positions are benchmarked on a 37.5-hour workweek. Adjustments will be made for other working patterns in proportion to the weekly working hours established by your employer." Certain professions on the list offer remuneration rates as high as N15,000 per hour.
Additionally, the list has revealed the consortium of enterprises authorized to sponsor and facilitate international workers' migration to the UK. These companies span various sectors including technology, commerce, education, media, advertisement, and engineering.
