Skales Expresses Frustration Over Online Toxicity by Wizkid's Fans
Nigerian singer and songwriter Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known by his stage name Skales, has criticised Afrobeats singer Wizkid and his fans.
He asserted that Wizkid takes pleasure in the toxicity being displayed online by his fans.
He made the disclosure while complaining on X (formally Twitter).
Skales wrote:
“Now if I vex, start to dey rant, them go say na me dey look for trouble. I’m human. How do you want me to ignore this shit, and for how long? You can love your Wiz and let me be. I don’t want shit from him. I love my life and pace, and I’m doing amazing.

In September 2024, Skales revealed that he wrote hit songs for Wizkid while they were members of Banky W's Empire Mates Entertainment, EME.
He made the disclosure on ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie; he affirmed that he co-wrote some hit songs of Wizkid, especially in his first album, 'Super Star,’ including the bonus track ‘Wiz Party.’
Skales also claimed that it was a reciprocated action from Wizkid too, as some of his hit songs were co-written by Wizkid.
