‘I’ve Never Been Heartbroken’ – Singer, Ruger Affirms

Nigerian Afrobeats musician and singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, professionally known as Ruger, has disclosed that he has never been heartbroken.

The superstar made the revelation on Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast. Ruger said he has been longing for a heartbreak, but it hasn’t occurred yet.

His words were, I have never been heartbroken. But I’m waiting for it. I know that it is going to occur at some point.

When asked about his ideal woman, he said that he loves funny women.

He added, When you’re funny, you already have 20 percent of my heart. You have to be so funny. I have to see the humour from a distance, then I will be moving closer.

According to reports, Ruger rose to fame with the song "Bounce" and signed a record deal in 2021 with Jonzing World. In 2024, he left Jonzing World to start his imprint, which he calls 'Blown Boy Entertainment'.
