Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson said that, she doesn’t see any reason why she needs a pastor before believing in the existence of God.
She made this comment on Kingdom FM while on media tour for her movie “Kotoka”.
According to the Actress, she believes God can speak to us through dreams and doesn’t necessarily have to be a prophesy.
”I believe in dreams, not necessarily prophesies. If God wants to reveal something about me, he can show it in my dream or someone close to me can also dream about it. I don’t need a pastor to tell me God is real, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.”
the actress added that, people who seek spirituality through pastors and not from God directly are lazy. She further asserted that, this has become a business avenue for many churches instead of houses of worship.
“You can pray and read the word, no need to rely solely on spiritual fathers to pray for you. People pay pastors to pray for them and I feel it's laziness because you can do all those for yourself as a child of God”
Finally, she urged Christians to pray for the spirit of discernment that will enable them differentiate authentic activities from fraudulent ones.
