Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his wife Chioma, finally celebrate the birth of their twins in Atlanta, as per multiple videos shared online.
Davido and his wife Chioma have been making headlines since Tuesday, October 10, as the news of them welcoming twins was circulating on different media platforms.
However, some social media users doubted the news as no official statement was made by the couple concerning the arrival of their twins.
Meanwhile, a video evidence seen now shows the joyful news is true.
In the latest video, Davido, and Chioma are both seen smiling while been congratulated, and a voice that suggests the grandfather of the children is heard ushering the mother inside while the voice keeps echoing, “Our first ride is a Bentley” referring to the new children,
The video has been met with a lot of excitement from fans, who have been congratulating Davido and Chioma on their new arrivals.
Earlier this year, Davido had opened up about the tragic loss of his son, Ifeanyi, who passed away in October 2022 due to a drowning incident at their Banana Island residence in Lagos.
He mentioned that he received messages of encouragement from a wide range of individuals, including fellow artists, politicians, and even presidents. The outpouring of support on his Instagram was a significant source of strength for him.
Davido expressed, “Personally, with me, the support I got from people was one of the things that helped me stand up again. At some point, I couldn’t open my Instagram for weeks. One day, I just checked it and I saw messages from every kind of person in the world, from politicians to sportsmen, to other musicians, to presidents, I was like, ‘you’re fine, you see everybody is rooting for you.’ That was one thing that really made me strong enough to stand up again, get back in the studio and do what I love.
The couple welcomed their twins in October 2023 and their sexes are yet to be known by fans.
