Veteran actor in Nollywood Kanayo O. Kanayo has explained why he chose not to celebrate his birthday.
The seasoned actor claimed that the outcome of the presidential election prevented him from celebrating his birthday.
At the National Collation Center in Abuja, INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu declared the former Lagos governor the election's victor.
The actor, who turned 61 stated that the Independent and National Electoral Commission, INEC, "sold humiliation in the market" and that he is unhappy with the results.
He wrote, "I am not celebrating my birthday today because INEC sold shame in the market. God bless you, my fans and well-wishers, for your support and prayers."
