

Recently, at the London Jazz Festival, five-time Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo made an impression with her performance.
Kidjo, 63, who has been influential in African and international music industries and culture shaping for decades, performed with the Chineke! orchestra conducted by Chris Cameron.
The 2023 Polar Music Prize Laureate, who has released several albums, including Celia, Spirit Rising, and her most recent album, Mother Nature, is paving the way for upcoming African musicians and people of color to embrace their uniqueness and creativity in order to remain competitive in the international music scene.
In her most recent album, Kidjo collaborated with a number of up-and-coming African singers and musicians, including Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr. Eazi, Zeynab, Shungudzo, Sampa the Great, Rexxie, Salif Keita, an African legend, and French singer Matthieu Chedid.
Following her role in the film CEO directed by well-known Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, she has also added the title of actress to her resume.
She will continue her world tour in support of her most recent album, stopping in cities across Europe such as Berlin, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; Luxemborg, Luxemborg; and Monte Carlo, Monaco, with her performance at the Jazz Festival.
