Girl Child Education Impacts the Society - Polaris bank

Polaris Bank, in partnership with Evolve Charity, highlighted the girl-child's positive societal influence by supplying educational materials to 400 students in Ikeja and Surulere, Lagos State.

As part of the 'Girl-Child Education Project in commemoration of the United Nations Children's Fund International Day of the Girl, school materials were donated to the students of Opebi Junior Secondary School in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos, and Gbaja Junior Girls High School and Gbaja Senior Girls High School, all at their respective school premises in Surulere.

During the presentation of the educational materials at Opebi, Ikeja, Adekunle Sonola, the Managing Director of Polaris Bank said, "At Polaris Bank, we firmly believe that every investment in education, particularly in empowering the girl-child, has a lasting impact, not only on the child but on society as a whole. This is why we partnered with Evolve Charity to launch the Support for the Girl Child Education PROJECT."

He continued, "We believe in education as an organization, and more importantly, we believe in identifying with the pupils in these schools. We have been doing this for the past few years, and it is a commitment we intend to uphold and continue."
