In a significant boost for higher education, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has reaffirmed his administration's unwavering commitment to advancing educational infrastructure at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED)

During the groundbreaking ceremony for the university's new Senate Building, Aiyedatiwa announced a substantial N1 billion investment, with the first tranche of N500 million already approved. The governor emphasized that health and education remain critical pillars of sustainable development for the state.

Speaking at the event, Aiyedatiwa underscored the importance of quality infrastructure and resources in educational institutions. He highlighted that the Senate Building project is part of a broader strategic commitment to support and enhance higher education in Ondo State.

The university's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi, warmly praised the governor's financial support, noting additional contributions such as N250 million for the Olu Akinkugbe Faculty of Pharmacy. This investment aligns with Aiyedatiwa's consistent efforts to prioritize educational and healthcare development.
