The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has received congratulations for his victory at the Supreme Court from the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, or COSEYL.

The coalition's President General, Goodluck Ibem, said in a statement that the verdict was a victory for democracy and proof that a lot of people in Osun State voted for him.

According to COSEYL, the interruption occasioned by the All Progressives Congress in the state has finished, encouraging Ademola to appropriately return to work.

"Now that the distractions of court cases promoted by people who clearly lost the election have been laid to rest, the Governor can now have the necessary time to speed up on the duty given to him by the Osun people.

“We commend the governor for not allowing the bogus lawsuit to keep him from carrying out his responsibilities as governor and urge him to work harder to make Osun a better place than he found it.

“We commend the five Supreme Court Justices for rendering a fair and transparent decision, which confirms what the good people of Osun State expected from them after defying the weather to vote in large numbers for Senator Ademola Adeleke as their Governor in 2022.

"We urge the good people of Osun State to continue supporting their Governor as he takes the state to greater heights," the statement reads.
