Rival Cult Groups Clash in Osun, Shot three Students

The students were charging their telephones at Amuta intersection when hints of shots leased the air.

Three students of Osun State College of Health Technology, Ilesa were apparently shot as adversary clique bunches conflicted in the town.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, representative Kehinde Adeleke affirmed that two female understudies and a male were hit by slugs from obscure shooters on Sunday night.

She said the students were charging their telephones at Amuta intersection when hints of shots leased the air.

As indicated by her, the students sustained serious wounds from the slugs and were hurried to Osun State College Showing Clinic, Osogbo before they were alluded to Obafemi Awolowo College Showing Emergency clinic Complex, Ile-Ife for treatment.

"As I'm talking now, the reason for the episode is yet to be learned however we are researching the matter", she said

In the meantime, it was gathered that the episode was a consequence of opposing cultists' conflict locally.

A source locally said the rampaging shooters were cultists who were on a mission to apply experts nearby, saying the emergency had been continuous before it was at last raised on Sunday night.

Ilesa had been combating with rival faction conflicts prompting the killing of adversary clique individuals over the four months which crested during the electioneering time frame in the town.
