Contractors in charge of various ongoing projects throughout Osun State have been tasked by the government with ensuring that high-quality service is provided in order for the projects to endure.

During a state-wide inspection of ongoing projects, Engr. Basiru Bello, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Transport, issued this order.

He urged the contractors, while speaking with them, not to violate the State Government's trust by ensuring that projects were carried out in accordance with the specifications.

Bello made the observation that Governor Ademola Adeleke is a man who only wants the best for the people of Osun State and will never accept an action that would jeopardize their interests.

“We have a governor who will never compromise on quality, who only desires the best for his people, and who will not accept anything less than the best for them.

"I entreat you all to do the different ventures you are taking care of as per determinations; Please do not compromise on the standard. The Osun people deserve the best because these are projects funded by taxpayers.

We want projects for our people that will last a long time. We can't afford to disappoint State residents, so please handle these projects as if they were your own.
