Family members of a 34-year-old groom-to-be named Bosun in Ibadan, Oyo state, are currently mourning the death of their son, who died on the eve of his wedding.
Bosun, the groom, and his best man died while returning from his bachelor's eve party on Idi-Ape Road.
Two other persons, including the groom's friends, were killed in the car accident, which happened near Bova's Petrol Station in Ibadan's Olowotinfowosanu Shopping Complex.
According to Vanguard, Bosun worked for a multinational corporation in Nigeria until his untimely demise on September 29.
He was supposed to tie the knot on Saturday (today), September 30, but he died on Friday, September 29.
The groom was driving back from his bachelor's eve party in a Highlander SUV, while his best man was driving after him in a Toyota Camry, when they collided with a trailer offloading.
According to witnesses, the accident happened about 11 p.m. when they crashed into the trailer.
The groom's body has been taken to Molly Hospital in Ibadan.
A friend of the deceased, Sesan, who took to his Facebook wall to mourn the deceased, wrote: This is too sad to bear. Bosun, rest in peace."
